New Recordings
Ruthy is currently recording two new musical projects, (Hixson,
Tennessee), a Christmas C.D. of holiday favorites and a Patriotic C.D.
with well-loved songs of our country, similar to those at her patriotic
concerts. Both should be available by fall of 2012. Special thanks to
Rusty Richards of Sight & Sound, Strasburg, Pa. for his contribution and
assistance

Ruthy Stock Ministries
A British reporter visiting from London in the U.S. wrote about
RUTHY STOCK for the BBC: "At only the first few lines of their
precious patriotic theme, did I, (while standing silently at
attention) think that Mahaliya Jackson herself had come back to
life. Instead, I looked to see a blonde white woman with all the
soul and richness to her voice unlike I had ever heard. She conveyed
her emotion for that National Anthem in each precise and dynamic
acappella note."
An inspirational singer, songwriter, recording artist and music
minister, Ruthy Stock released her eighth recording project. She
received the Steinway & Sons "Acknowledgement of Achievement"
completed with distinction and honor and the "Making of a Steinway"
course conducted at the World Headquarters of Steinway & Sons, Long
Island City, N.Y. Ruthy performed at a dedication banquet for
Muhammed Ali when he donated acres of his former training camp
property to a developing Christian orphanage. She is authorized by
The International Bible Institute as a Goodwill Ambassador to serve
in the capacity of representing the Institute to the public at large
(especially in the way of musical ministry) on behalf of the
President, Dr. John Q. Kenny, with endowments of the Board of
Regents and founder, David Wilkerson.
For nearly twenty years Ruthy has traveled in concert
extensively, visiting Focus on the Family, under Dr. James Dobson,
Colorado Springs, CO., throughout much of the western and southern
U.S. including, "Women of Courage", concerts, camp meetings,
retreats and seminars. Ruthy has ministered in concert with many of
the artists of TBN in California, Calvin Hunt (Brooklyn Tabernacle
Choir), Laverne and Edith Tripp, The Imperials, John Starnes, Amanda
Ross, 2000 Miss Tennessee and others of the famed Gaither Homecoming
events. In 1993 Ruthy was accepted into the Gospel Music Association
in Nashville, Tenn. as a professional writer/member becoming
acquainted with many wonderful artists at annual seminars that
culminate with the Dove Awards at the Grand Ole Opry. This was the
result of her 1993 debut recording project comprised of her own
compositions, of which she was the executive producer. Thirty-two
original musical compositions and over twenty selections of
published poetry are recorded by copyright at the Library of
Congress, Washington, D.C. The debut recording, with each since, has
been successful and gained airplay as well as interviews by
Christian radio stations in the western U.S. and Alaska. In 1995
Ruthy became a signed, approved evangelist for the Salvation Army
(Eastern USA Territory), opening doors along the entire east coast
to sing and speak. Ruthy also is a popular invited guest judge at
many of the same Music Expo Talent events that she won years ago.
To a broader secular audience, Ruthy has
delivered the inspirational music that stems from her patriotic
events at the PA. Capital in Harrisburg, U.S. Historical Society,
Leadership Celebration of the Arts, National Kidney Foundation, U.S.
Marines Toys For Tots, Muscular Dystrophy, Bethany Children's Homes,
Volunteers of America, sports arenas, secular universities and
fairgrounds throughout the U.S. As Robert Knight, director of cultural
studies (Family Research Council) under then President Gary Bauer,
Washington D.C., stated of her, "Ruthy reaches the hearts of the people
with her music and sings about the things that really matter." Opening
in concert for Robert Knight was one of many exciting opportunities she
has had to meet some of her favorite personalities, authors, and
ministers, such as Cal Thomas, Dr. Ravi Zacharias, Chuck Colson and D.
James Kennedy. GMA seminars include concerts and one on one sessions
with artists Michael W. Smith, Twila Paris, Steve Green and Amy Grant,
just to name a few. Whether it be a weekend women's retreat at the
Montrose Bible
Conference Center, an event with Bill Kelly of WVIA, (PBS) at the Kirby Center in her home state, or a
concert in Colorado, Tennessee or Vermont, Ruthy wants to reach the
hearts of the people and sing about the things that really matter.
